I’d be happy to do work with Steve’s Gourmet Ice Cream! I’ve researched local competition and their websites and I have some ideas to compliment your company as well as show casing your website in a more appealing manner than competitors. I understand that you would like a viral video to be placed on the site. This is an excellent idea because it will be one of the first things that the user sees when they go to your website. I can come into your shop and film an HD quality video of your shop’s products and/or the environment of the shop itself. I can make it so that the viewers want your products even by just being on your website. Business is sure to increase! Another idea that I came up with was a gallery o f your products. A picture of each product at its finest could be placed next to each item on the menu. On the home page of the website there will be an area that says “Our Flavor of the Day”. So you can spend more time managing the business, I can set this up so it automatically chooses one of your ice cream flavors at random to replace one another each day. I really want to show off your business and create an emotion in the viewer in which they want to visit your business and purchase some of your ice cream.

Here are the series of events that are going to take place over the course of building the site.
- First we’ll go over and finalize ideas for the design.
- Domain Name and Hosting. As well as the best deals for pricing.
- Next we’ll talk the content that will be placed on each page.
- Discuss social networking. Social networking is huge with companies now-a-days. People want to better connect with your company and social sites such as Facebook and Twitter are just the way to do it. The website and social networks we decide to use will enter connect. So from your website they’ll be able to “like” you on Facebook or “follow” you on twitter. Then from each of the social networks, there will be a link to your main website.
- Build site design.
- Connect all the content pages.
- Film video.
- Edit and upload video to a popular media hosting site such as YouTube or Vimeo so that it can be access off of your website. The video will be placed on the home page of your website as well.
- Discuss extras (Such as deals the user can access and get information about from your website).
- Finalize the entire site
- Upload site and let the customers start accessing the website.

This all can easily be done in a week and a half at most.

I have also attached a mock-up of a possible site design idea. We want to instantly catch the viewer’s attention with the colors we use and still fit your business. So I decided to go with blue, white, and charcoal color scheme. Color scheme is easily fixable if you decide you go with something else though.
